weekend update

Serious things have been happening in my life lately. Quite serious things, actually. My mom is having surgery, my prom date passed away, and I just finished up a week and a half of jury duty which you can imagine for yourself because I'm not going to talk about it here. And I find out this week whether I got into grad school, and if I do it's great but I have a lot of planning to do, and if I don't(and my chances of getting in are frankly about the chances of those retiree couples they keep on dragging out to lose "The Amazing Race") I really am back where I am in high school, when I wanted to become a hobo.

On the other hand I might have a freelance gig writing the back covers of romance novels!
