Finished "Marie Antoinette" and a book of essays by Ursula K. Le Guin. Le Guin's writing was lovely, all about how fantasy is discovered from within - as if there's an entire unexplored world within the subconscious and if you come up with a new idea, you're putting a mark on a map. I had the revised version, which had a more feminist bent - a lot of footnoted regrets about using "he" for "they," etc. It shows how far the feminist movement has fallen* that I read all the tacked-on feminist parts in the same spirit as reading about Communism in old history books. "Wow, back in the day they really thought that!" It's almost laughable, although it really shouldn't be - it can't be any worse than a rich woman bitching about how she could get a man if she was dumb and poor, right?

* Because all intellectual movements are measured by their status in my MIND.
